Where to buy trading cards in Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe
In western Japan, card shops gather in a few districts. Nipponbashi in Osaka is the biggest; Umeda and Shinsaibashi have the official stores; Kyoto and Kobe each have a compact cluster.
Nipponbashi (Den Den Town), Osaka
Osaka's electronics and anime street, south of Namba. Our map lists around 40 card shops in and around Den Den Town, including Card Labo, Dragon Star, Hobby Station and Hareruya. It is the closest thing to Akihabara in western Japan, and a good place to compare singles prices.

Sannomiya, Kobe
Many of Kobe's card shops are in one building complex: the west wing of Sannomiya Center Plaza holds Yellow Submarine, Toreca Park, Hobby Station and several other shops, and Hareruya 2 is in the main building next door. It is one of the easiest places in Japan to visit many shops without walking far.
