Privacy policy

Card Shop Guide Japan (cardshop-guide.com) is a guide to trading card shops and new card releases in Japan. You can use the whole site without an account.

What we collect

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited, how people find the site (search, social media, links), what country and type of device they use, and which buttons are used (for example "Open in Google Maps"). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies. It does not tell us who you are.
• Advertising. We may show ads served by Google. Google may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
• Your location. If you use "Use my location" on the map, your location is used in your browser to sort nearby shops. It is not sent to us.
• Server logs. Our server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page, time, browser) for security and troubleshooting, and deletes them after a short period.

Your choices

• Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before analytics and advertising cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
• You can learn how Google uses data at How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and manage ad personalization at Google Ad Settings.

Third-party content

Release information comes from the official sites of each card game, and store locations from official store lists. Product images are shown directly from the official sites of each card game. The map uses data from OpenStreetMap contributors. Links to other sites (official sites, shops, Google Maps) are governed by those sites' own policies.

Changes

We may update this policy when the site changes. The current version is always on this page.
